come across this standard of workmanship, style and sound that rocks'
your world!"

Pat Kelly
“The top of the line is, there is no other
guitar like my Carparelli’s. The tone on both the 6 string and 12 string
acoustics are deep, natural and inspiring. As a songwriter, the first
strum of the guitar can make or break the flow of the process. Since,
getting Suzy (the 6 string) and Baby (the 12-string) I’ve written
probably my best songs to date. On stage, I’ll grab my Carparelli S3
electric and it provides the same reaction from the pros I play with.
“That’s a beautiful guitar!...#@$ that sounds amazing!”
Carparelli is not just the best guitar company but, I consider them
family. Imagine, the president, executive staff and other endorsees
showing up at your gigs and even surprise birthday parties. Yeah! I
didn’t think so.
Next time you consider spending your hard to come buy funds, invest in
authentic quality and become your own star. A dream should not only mean
but, be your reality.”

Kathy Taler
With the release of her brand new album "Not
Guilty" in the Fall of 2008, Kathy Taler has become the Bad girl on the
Canadian Independent music scene. The raspy voiced Rock ‘n Roll singer,
who now resides in Toronto has spent four years playing New York City’s
best and raunchiest coffee bars and Clubs. Upon first moving in on the
American music scene, she performed on various recording projects as a
backup vocalist before releasing her first original EP "I Never Bled",
which she co-produced. Her unmistakable vocals on the track resulted in
the song being picked by Lulu Records for their compilation album called
"Women in Williamsburg", which ended up hitting the stores with
National Distribution in the United States.
Her travels have inspired a gritty punk rock attitude that shows itself
clearly in the music and also in her live performance style. Always one
for onstage theatrics and visuals, her shows seem to be on the verge of
crashing and bursting into flames but she manages to hold on for dear
life and walk away smiling like a bloodied prize fighter who just KO’d
the opponent in the 1st round. Audiences are often shocked, and always
surprised, but never seem to be able to look away out of fear that they
may miss some of the excitement. She is kind of like 105 pounds of “kick
your ass…” Not someone whose purse you would want to snatch. And that’s
just the theatrics part. The music speaks for itself, and on its own
certain terms.
Since relocating to Toronto, Kathy has appeared on CHRY 105.5 and CKRG
89.9, KJAG FM and Bite TV to name a few. Taler’s music might just be the
wake up call that the Canadian Music Industry needs right now. With
song titles like "Life Stinks" and "Angel of Death" expect to be
surprised.

Val Halla
Growing up in the middle of Canada, in a city kindly named Regina (rhymes with fun), Val began writing songs at age 5. She left the prairies to pursue music seriously at 17, and moved alone to the "big city" of Vancouver, British Columbia. Over the years Val has played hundreds of shows, both solo, and with various bands including North of Dewdney, Crucial Taunt, KJB Agents, and of course her own creation, Val Halla. She has also been a guest on various TV and Radio programs, performing live solo acoustic renditions of her music.
Now 24, Val splits her time between Regina, Vancouver, and Nashville, honing her skills as a guitar player, songwriter, and performer.
She has sacrificed being with friends and family, to simply get a shot at having her music heard by others, and connecting with fans and strangers alike.
Achievements include engineering
and producing Val Halla's self titled 2007 release, gaining an
endorsement through Mack Amps, performing various showcases in Los
Angeles and Nashville, and gaining new and loyal fans every time she
plays!
Val is now pursuing a solo career under the
name Val Halla, and will be attending both CMW and SXSW in 2009 to
promote her music.

Marshall Dane
From the beginning music has been both inspiration and salvation for Marshall Dane. Born in small-town Southern Ontario, he was raised by a preacher father and god-fearing mother, amidst a musical setting of Sunday family jamborees. He might have been listening to Kenny Rogers and Johnny Cash, but when Marshall went out at age 15 and solicited his first resident house gig, it was his own true blend of rootsy rock music that won over the crowd.
A few years later and Marshall found himself settled but still searching in a “cozy-by-most” government job – so he said good-bye and turned to find sanctity in writing, recording, and gigging full time. Settling a few hours from home, Marshall started making his mark as an acoustic singer-songwriter in Toronto. Nightly shows in music clubs became a way of life and although the highs of being an independent artist came as frequent as the lows, the music didn’t quit burning.
In 2003 Marshall released the first of two albums, the self-produced “35 Dollars & Cheesecake” and then “Weapons of the Future”(2007), produced by Brian Allen (Former A&R Attic Records / Heart; Producer: Haywire; Lee Aaron). As word caught on of this electric and exciting new vocalist, Marshall started earning radio play and commercial work. He built ongoing demand for over 300 shows annually as a solo act as well as leading his seven piece band. And then, in 2008, the relentless pursuit of grandeur won him the acclaimed “Best Live Electric Band” at the Toronto Independent Music Awards.
This rising story of break out success is the perfect recipe for a country song – and that’s exactly what it’s become. Marshall’s recent segue to country roots music is a clear cut revival of where he’s come from and evidence of his devout journey up to this point. Now frequently traveling to Nashville, Marshall is gaining the respect of the Music Row songwriters and collaborating on a collection of hits for his highly anticipated new album.
This level of success has been a long time coming – but as he’ll tell you, Marshall Dane is again, only beginning.

Oliver Piggot
He is all at once a powerful singer, timeless songwriter and magnetic, explosive performer. Standing 6 foot 2 inches with a crop of outrageously wild hair, Oliver´s presence commands your attention. What most people recognize instantly is the kid´s astounding lyrical abilities. As one admirer from Los Angeles explained, ´´It´s almost as if Oliver has spent his young life on a train and seen the world in all its joy, pain, benevolence, cruelty and social injustice.´´ The tunes, too, speak of a world-weary soul, resulting in a wonderful melodic mix of blues, country, folk and rock ´n´ roll. After the passing of his father, a blues harmonica player, Oliver picked up the instrument. He was twelve.
He began to perform in bars along the Algarve in Portugal. Returning to Toronto, Canada, Oliver gathered a passionate legion of fans with his band ´´Laughing Sam´s Dice´´, playing such legendary clubs as The El Mocambo and The Opera House. His following grew ever stronger. Now based in the UK and Canada, a 2008 Canadian Idol finalist (along with his brother Sebastian) and a ubiquitous presence in clubs across both countries, the rest of the world is about to discover what his many admirers already know. In the words of one devoted Pigott concertgoer, ´´Oliver picks up that guitar and steps up to the microphone like he´s coming home. I´ve seen him so many times because he´s twenty feet tall onstage and I can´t look away.´
