Fretwork & Build Quality
Brio necks are made from hand-selected A-grade Canadian maple and follow a professional fretwork process:
Precision Fret Pressing & Leveling
Frets are installed at exact scale-length increments and leveled for consistent action across the board.
Crowning & Hand Polishing
Each fret is shaped and polished for smooth string contact and accurate intonation.
Fret End Beveling & Edge Rounding
Ensures fret ends sit flush with the fretboard edge—no sharp edges, no hand fatigue.
The result is a neck that feels fast, comfortable, and immediately playable.
Why Choose a 24.75" Conversion Neck?
Installation Notes
Disclosures & Important Notes
This is a replacement conversion neck for Telecaster®-style guitars. It is not manufactured, licensed, or endorsed by Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. Telecaster® is a registered trademark of Fender.
This neck is designed to fit standard 25.5" scale Tele-style bodies, converting the playing feel to a 24.75" scale length. Proper intonation depends on correct installation and setup.
Professional installation and setup are strongly recommended. Final setup will typically include nut cutting, truss rod adjustment, saddle positioning, and intonation.
Due to normal manufacturing tolerances between different guitar bodies, minor fitting may be required, including light sanding of the heel. This is common with aftermarket and replacement necks.
Wood is a natural material. Grain pattern, color, and roasting intensity will vary from neck to neck and are not considered defects.
Roasted maple is more dimensionally stable than untreated maple but can be less forgiving during modification. Drilling, tuner installation, or other alterations must be done carefully and at the installer’s responsibility.
Any customer modifications, including drilling, sanding, fretwork, or finish alterations, are not covered under warranty.

Testimonial from Ice – Shop Supervisor & Tone Inspector
“Hi, I’m Ice. I may not have opposable thumbs, but I do have an ear for tone and a nose for quality wood.
Every day I patrol the shop, sniffing out bad solder joints and ensuring every guitar smells like success (and maybe a little beef jerky).
Mike built me a custom dog-sized Telecaster once. I couldn’t play it... but I licked it. It passed inspection.
So if you're wondering whether to buy from Carparelli Guitars, here's my advice: Sit. Stay. Buy it. 5 paws out of 5.
Now please excuse me while I nap in a pile of tonewood.”
