Quality Pre-Wired harness for Fender® Esquire® guitars.

This circuit is based on the famous Mike "Eldred" Esquire setup - versatility using a 3 way switch and one pickup.

Switch Controls:

Switch position #1. This rear position is the same as on a standard Esquire. The pickup goes through the volume control only, with the tone control bypassed for a hotter, louder lead sound with added highs.

Switch position #2. This middle position is also the same as on a standard Esquire, with the pickup going through both the volume and tone controls. It sounds a little warmer than position #1.

Switch position #3 In the front position of the Eldred Esquire wiring setup, the pickup goes through a single, small capacitor (0.0047uF) and the volume control, with the tone control once again bypassed. It removes the fixed treble roll-off network and replaces it with the capacitor. This offers an extra dimension and more flexibility and what is known as the "cocked wah" effect.

This Esquire wiring harness consists of the finest components available and is a great way to upgrade the stock electronics in the majority of eastern imports, copies, partscasters and DIY guitar kit projects. They are great for rewiring jobs too.

This Pre-Wired Esquire harness is not just limited to Esquire's but to any single pickup guitar.

- 2 x CTS "TVT" (True Vintage Taper) 250k solid shaft pots
- 1 x 0.047uF PIO capacitor
- 1 x 0.0047uF ceramic disk capacitor
- 1 x 3 Way spring action switch
- 1 x Pure-Tone Multi Contact jack output jack
- Wiring diagram for easy installation
- Wired with push back vintage style cloth wire and buss (tinned copper) ground wire.

2 screws will also be added for your convenience to install the control plate on your guitar body.

Will This Fit My Guitar?

Our Esquire wiring harness will fit US and Mexican made Fenders with no modification required. It can fit imported models but you may be required to drill the pot holes on the control plate to 10mm diameter. The distance between the pots may differ on non-Fender models.
