Introduction

The VITOOS ISO8 is the flagship model of its POWER PACK series power supply for effect pedals, with FULLY ISOLATED GROUND, 6 outlets @ 9 volts and 2 outlets ADJUSTABLE @ 9 volts,12 volts and 18 volts.

The highlight of this power supply is that it is all isolated and allows for the electrical current to boost the voltage adding some color ( tone ) to some pedals just changing the voltage.

If you own some pedals using 12v or 18v, you may use them at the same time with your other pedals running at 9v, or even if you want to get more dynamic sound or some pedals can be originally running between 9v and 18v just like some fulltone pedals. (*Not all pedals can be used with 18v, make sure you read through the manual, any damage because of the incorrect connection will not be warranted)

The ISO8 will drive EIGHT pedals from the same source, it’s more than a power supply, it’s a power conditioner which supplies a predictable voltage all the time and keeps your pedals in constant performance from one show to another.

• The LEDs of each 9v OUTLET will light on to indicate the using mode, it also indicate the fault pedals when the LEDs turn on RED, meanwhile, the ISO8 goes in self-protection mode and it will auto-restart in about 2 seconds once you unplug the short-circuited pedal.
• FCLC (Foldback Current Limiting Circuit) provides ultimate protection against power shortages and overloads. Even at full load, you’ll enjoy the quiet and cool operation of a fully regulated power supply.

Most battery-powered effects rarely exceed 30 milliamps each, you’re not likely to use anywhere near the ISO8‘s capacity of 2000 milliamps output.

Connections

• Plug the included AC adaptor into the ISO8’s in-12v jack
• Connect the AC adaptor to 100~240v AC power, the blue LED will light, if you use other AC adaptors, make sure the output is 12v DC rated at 2000mA and the plug is positive barrel and negative center type.
• Connect your 9v pedals to the SIX 9v OUTLETS with included DC cables.
• Connect your 9v/12v/18v pedal to the A OUTLET with included DC cables.
• Connect your 9v/12v/18v pedal to the B OUTLET with included DC cables.
• Use the Y cable to connect from any of the EIGHT outlets to get the right voltage for your pedals.( the voltage will boost from 18v to 36v under such a connection)

Important Notice

• Do not put or use near water which might cause short or other electrical dangers.
• Use only 12v/2000mA output DC adaptor with positive barrel, negative center polarity plug.
• Do not use any other adaptors different from the requested ones as above, or there might cause harm to the unit, the adapter or yourself.
• Unplug your ISO8 when not in use for extended periods of time.
• Guard against water or other liquids entering the enclosure.
