This is a Baritone Conversion Neck designed to achieve a 28” scale length while fitting a standard 25.5” scale guitar body without moving the bridge.

Because this is a conversion neck, proper intonation depends heavily on bridge design and available saddle travel.

⚠️ Bridge Compatibility Is Critical

Not all bridges offer sufficient rearward saddle adjustment to properly intonate a 28” baritone scale. In particular:

• Tune-O-Matic / Starcaster-style bridges and other fixed-position bridges often do not provide enough saddle travel
• This is especially true when using heavier gauge strings or flatwounds, which require additional compensation

For best results, we strongly recommend:

• Strat-style hardtail bridges
• Telecaster modern hardtail bridges
• Any bridge with extended individual saddle travel

⚠️ Setup Experience Required

Baritone guitars require more precise setup than standard scale instruments. Proper results may require:

• Accurate nut slotting
• Correct truss rod relief
• Bridge saddle adjustment with adequate compensation range
• Professional setup by a qualified guitar technician or luthier

⚠️ Measurement Clarification

Scale length is determined by nut to 12th fret distance (×2) plus saddle compensation.
Visual comparisons, fretboard overhang differences, or nut-to-saddle midpoint measurements do not accurately indicate scale length or fret accuracy.
