We pre-wire this for your convenience and we also added what we call Identi-Side. No Rocket Science involved. Just common sense after installing hundreds of harnesses. Be confident that when you install the switch, one lead side has a Yellow Heat Shrink and on that same lead on the other end we shrank another Yellow Heat Shrink so you will know exactly what POT to put it on. Yes there are other ways, put a piece of tape on it etc, but if you forgot that then you have a 50/50 chance you will have to re-do the solder from one pot to another. With the Carparelli Identi-side you don't have to remember a thing. Just look inside the switch cavity, see what side the yellow shrink is on and look into the Volume/Pots cavity and the lead with the other Yellow Shrink......bob's your uncle. No more guessing. Nore more having to remember to put tape on before you install. Besides, we also use Pre-Tinned Gavitt Push Cloth Wire. Such a treat to work with making soldering that much easier and stronger joints.
