About Carparelli Guitars

Built With Soul. Wired by Hand. Since 2005.

A guitar should feel like yours—in your hands, through your amp, and in the details that make you want to keep playing.

That belief is at the heart of Carparelli Guitars.

Founded by Mike Carparelli in 2005 and based in Barrie, Ontario, we’re an independent Canadian guitar business serving players, builders and anyone who enjoys making a good instrument their own.

From One Guitar Enthusiast to Another

Carparelli Guitars grew out of a passion for guitars and the possibilities inside them. Sometimes the right upgrade is a complete instrument. Sometimes it’s a thoughtfully wired harness, a different neck or one small part that gets a project moving again.

Our online store brings those possibilities to players near and far, with personal service from someone who works with the products he sells.

When you contact Carparelli Guitars, you’re talking with Mike—the person behind the business, the workbench and the wiring.

What You’ll Find Here

We offer guitars, components and electronics for upgrades, repairs and builds, including:

• Hand-assembled guitars and selected custom projects.
• Prewired guitar harnesses and loaded pickguards.
• Guitar bodies and replacement necks.
• Pickups, potentiometers, switches, capacitors and output jacks.
• Bridges, tuners, pickguards, knobs and other hardware.
• Parts and accessories for players and independent builders.

Our electronics work includes components from trusted names such as CTS, CRL, Bourns, Emerson and Pure Tone, with the exact specifications listed for each product.

Thoughtful Wiring. Practical Advice.

Wiring is a particular passion here. From familiar vintage circuits to switching options that give you more sounds from the guitar you already own, we care about making controls useful, dependable and suited to the player.

Our Carparelli wiring harnesses are assembled and tested by hand. We pay attention to component selection, layout and the details that help make installation straightforward.

We also believe good service starts before an order is placed. Guitar parts aren’t universally interchangeable, and an honest conversation about measurements, compatibility and your goals can save a lot of frustration. If you’re unsure, ask—we’re happy to help you work through the details.

Our Values

We believe in useful upgrades, clearly described products and treating customers the way we’d want to be treated.

Our selection combines our own workshop work with components sourced from suppliers around the world. We value quality and suitability over hype, and we describe each product’s specifications and origin where applicable so you can make an informed choice.

Whether you’re refreshing a favourite guitar or planning a build from scratch, our aim is to help you choose parts that make sense for your project.

Meet Ice, Our Shop Supervisor

Every workshop needs someone keeping an eye on things.

Ours is Ice—a blue-eyed German Shepherd/Husky mix with a talent for supervising bench work, welcoming a break and reminding Mike when it’s time for a walk.

He leaves the soldering to Mike. Probably for the best.
