Carparelli Guitars — Return & Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident ordering from Carparelli Guitars. Please inspect your purchase when it arrives and contact us with any concerns before installing, modifying or working on it.

This policy applies to purchases made directly through carparelliguitars.com. Purchases through eBay, Reverb or other marketplaces are subject to the applicable marketplace rules and return terms shown on your order.

1. Our 30-Day Return Policy

Most standard, non-custom items are eligible for return.

To request a return, contact us within 30 calendar days of delivery. Once authorized, the item must be shipped back within 14 calendar days of authorization, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

For a change-of-mind return, the item must:

• Be in the same condition as received, with no signs of use, installation damage or alteration.
• Include its original packaging, accessories and documentation.
• Be accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase.

Opening the packaging to carefully inspect an item does not, by itself, make it ineligible for return.

2. How to Request a Return

Email info@carparelliguitars.com with:

• Your name and order number.
• The item you wish to return.
• The reason for the return.
• Photos if there is damage, a defect or a concern about the item’s condition.

Please wait for authorization and return instructions before shipping. We will provide the correct return address and any necessary shipping instructions.

An authorization allows us to receive and inspect the item; refund eligibility depends on its condition and the applicable terms of this policy.

3. Guitar Bodies, Necks, Parts & Electronics

Please check the item’s specifications and inspect it carefully before beginning your project.

For change-of-mind returns, items must not have been drilled, routed, sanded, filed, cut, painted, refinished, glued, soldered or otherwise altered. This includes shortened pickup leads, enlarged mounting holes, installed neck inserts and modifications to wiring harnesses.

Installation marks, stripped threads, tool damage, scratches and other customer-caused damage may make an item ineligible for return.

If you discover a possible defect during fitting or installation, stop work and contact us. Installation does not automatically exclude a claim involving an original defect, but damage caused by installation or modification is not covered.

Compatibility & Fitting

Replacement guitar parts are not universally interchangeable. Please confirm dimensions, routing, scale compatibility, bridge spacing, mounting-hole locations and other relevant specifications before ordering.

Some projects require professional fitting, drilling, wiring or setup. A part requiring fitting is not necessarily defective when it matches the advertised specifications.

If you are unsure about compatibility, contact us before purchasing. If an item differs from its advertised specifications or from compatibility information we specifically confirmed for your order, please let us know.

4. Custom Orders & Final-Sale Items

The following are not eligible for change-of-mind returns:

• Custom-built guitars.
• Wiring harnesses or electronics made to customer-specific requirements.
• Bodies, necks or other components specially drilled, routed, finished, wired or modified at the customer’s request.
• Items clearly identified as clearance or final sale before purchase.

A standard stocked product is not considered custom solely because it is assembled after an order is placed.

These exclusions do not remove your rights if an item is defective, incorrect or materially different from its description. A cosmetic flaw clearly disclosed before purchase is not, by itself, grounds for a defect claim.

5. Incorrect, Damaged or Defective Items

Please contact us promptly if your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong item or appears defective. For visible delivery damage or an incorrect item, please notify us within seven calendar days where possible.

Keep the item, shipping carton and packing materials, and provide clear photos of the issue and packaging. For a defect that becomes apparent later, contact us as soon as you discover it.

Please do not attempt repairs or arrange third-party work before discussing the issue with us.

We will assess the concern and arrange an appropriate repair, replacement or refund, consistent with applicable consumer rights. For a confirmed defect, incorrect item or error on our part, we will cover reasonable necessary return shipping through a label or shipping method agreed with you.

The seven-day notification request does not limit applicable statutory rights.

6. Return Shipping

For change-of-mind or customer-selected compatibility returns:

• The customer pays return shipping.
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
• The item must be securely packed to prevent damage in transit.

We recommend tracked shipping and sufficient insurance. Please retain your shipping receipt and tracking number until the return is resolved.

Contact us before shipping internationally so we can provide accurate return documentation instructions. Customs descriptions and declared values must be truthful.

7. Refunds

After receiving and inspecting your return, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, unless a shorter period is required by law. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit.

Refunds include the eligible item price and applicable sales tax, less any shipping charges excluded under this policy.

We do not charge a restocking fee for eligible items returned in their original condition.

If a change-of-mind return arrives altered, damaged or incomplete, we may decline it or offer a reduced refund reflecting its actual loss in value. We will explain the reason and any proposed deduction before resolving the return.

8. Exchanges

Eligible standard items may be exchanged within the same return window, subject to availability and inspection.

Any price difference will be collected or refunded. Customers pay shipping associated with a change-of-mind exchange. For a confirmed defect or error on our part, we will arrange the appropriate shipping.

Contact us first so we can confirm availability and exchange instructions.

9. International Orders & Refused Deliveries

Import duties, tariffs, taxes and brokerage charges assessed by customs authorities or carriers are the buyer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law.

We cannot directly refund charges paid to a customs authority, carrier or broker. Any available refund of those charges must be requested from the organization that collected them.

Refusing delivery or leaving a shipment unclaimed does not replace the return authorization process.

If a shipment is returned because the buyer refused delivery or did not pay applicable import charges, any refund may be reduced by actual, documented, non-recoverable shipping and return-related charges we incur, where permitted by law. We will provide an explanation of any deductions.

These deductions do not apply where the return results from our error or where applicable law requires otherwise.

10. Consumer Rights & Policy Updates

Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies provided by applicable consumer protection law.

The policy and any clearly disclosed product-specific terms in effect when you placed your order apply to that purchase. Later policy changes do not retroactively change your order’s terms.
